The Application in One Paragraph
Tailings runs the safety-and-governance record for a Tailings Storage Facility end to end: a facility carries its design basis, components and construction quality; daily and event-triggered inspections against templated checklists raise defects; instruments (piezometers, weirs, pond-level and rain gauges) feed validated monitoring readings that are compared against threshold rules; a breach activates the Trigger Action Response Plan (TARP) and drives graded, time-bound action executions with evidence; facility events, defects, nonconformances and review findings all converge on corrective actions and work orders; deposition, water balance and environmental sampling track operational and environmental performance; and independent reviews, emergency exercises and closure criteria close the assurance loop — every reading, threshold evaluation, activation, acknowledgement, decision and piece of evidence held as an auditable record.
